Ph.D. student to study “Dynamics of environmental heterogeneity and species diversity across scales”

Dr. Yali Si (page: https://www.universiteitleiden.nl/en/staffmembers/yali-si#tab-1), is recruiting a Ph.D. student to study “Dynamics of environmental heterogeneity and species diversity across scales”. And preferably, she is looking for someone with a GIS/RS background (other backgrounds with proper skills would also be encouraged).

Dr. Yali Si is an assistant professor in Leiden University. She got her PhD in The Netherlands, worked at Tsinghua University, and moved back to NL a couple of years ago. Her previous master students enrolled in Wageningen University, Oxford University, Tsinghua University, and MIT for further career development. So Yali is pretty good at supervising. And Leiden University is one of the best Universities in the EU. It is 450 years old, very much Harry Potter style (also has some modern styled buildings), and has 16 Nobel laureates.
