Available PhDs next generation Open RANs 

My research group Communication Systems and Networks (CSN) are looking for two excellent, motivated, self-driven Ph.D. students to work in the area of next generation Open RANs. The positions are placed at the Sensible Things that Communicate (STC) research center, who is a leading Scandinavian research center in Industrial IoT, and are doing research on fields ranging from wireless connectivity, network security, distributed systems, ML/AI, embedded systems, visualization and measurement systems. 
 
We seek outstanding talents with a solid background in wireless communication, communication systems, mathematics (statistics, optimization, and linear algebra) and programming (Python or C++). Previous experiences in RRM and ML/AI is an advantage. 
 
The candidates will work in the projects ENSURE-6G and DIGIT, actively collaborate with other researchers within the research group, STC research center, as well as with our external collaborators in academia and industry. The candidates will also do longer research visits to renowned international research groups during their study.
